Municipality of Plastiras Lake

The Municipality of Plastiras Lake is a mountainous municipality in the region of Thessaly with a population of 5.285 inhabitants, according to the 2021 census. The Μunicipality consists exclusively of villages. The largest of these, Morfovouni (birthplace of Nikolaos Plastiras), has been designated as its headquarters.
The current form of the Municipality arose, with the Kallikratis Project, from the expansion of the original Municipality of Plastira with the merger of the Municipality of Nevropolis Agrafon.
