DjarFogo International Film Festival (DIFF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2019 by award-winning filmmaker Guenny K. Pires and Txan Film Productions & Visual Arts. With headquarters in Los Angeles and Cape Verde, DIFF promotes African stories through its International Film Festival, Africa Film Lab/Filmmaking Mentorship, and Academic and Cultural Exchanges.

Held annually on the islands of Santiago and Fogo, Cape Verde, DIFF is a global celebration of film and culture. In 2023, it featured creators from 82 countries, and in 2024, it was recognized by the Cape Verdean government as a Public Utility Organization, marking a new chapter of responsibility and growth.
