Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships

DGLL is a subordinate office under Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways(MoPSW) providing Marine Aids to Navigation for "safe and efficient voyage in Indian Water", and Heritage Lighthouse Tourism developing 75 lighthouses as major tourism destinations across Indian coastline.

DGLL maintains ATONS  Visual aids (Lighthouses, Lightships and Buoys) & Radio Aids (DGNSS, VTS, R-Beacon, NAIS and NAVTEX) through 09 Regional Directorates.
