DFA-PGC Mid County Action Team

The Dementia Friendly America, Prince George’s County initiative is housed in the Department of Family Services, under the Aging and Disabilities Services Division, which also serves as the local Area Agency on Aging (AAA). The Aging and Disabilities Services Division’s mission is to plan services and programs to meet the needs of older adults, persons with disabilities and their families; provide education on the available options; and advocate for the rights and protection of older adults and persons with disabilities. This is accomplished through the delivery of quality services, successful partnerships and community
outreach.
