Deus Minor Iocorum

Deus Minor Iocorum presents Gregorian-inspired chant and medieval sacred music shaped into immersive rhythmic soundscapes for the modern listener.

Drawing from the atmosphere of monastic chant, Ecclesiastical Latin, medieval modes, organ drones, resonant stone churches, and restrained rhythmic music, each piece seeks to preserve the gravity and contemplative character of an older musical world while giving it a steady modern pulse.

These are long-form listening pieces made for focus, study, reading, writing, prayer, reflection, and quiet work. Some are gentle enough for winding down or sleep; others develop a little more energy as they progress.

Put on a track, settle in, and let the repetition do its work.

Ancient voices. Modern rhythm. Quiet concentration.
