Desert Primrose

Desert Primrose are a rock band formed in 2025, featuring Emanuele Papasidero on vocals, Matteo Papini and Riccardo Rubini on guitars, Stefano Arosio on bass and Matteo Zanellato on drums.
Their debut single, “Down the Road”, released on September 25, 2026, introduces a band that looks back without sounding trapped in the past. Rather than chasing the sound of the moment, Desert Primrose draw on the warmth, weight and physicality of classic rock and reshape those elements into something direct, compact and distinctly their own.
Their name comes from the desert primrose, a flower that blooms in arid ground — an image that reflects the band’s identity. At a time when rock no longer dominates the charts and is often described as a genre in decline, five young musicians choosing to play it feels less like nostalgia and more like a statement.

Desert Primrose make music for those who grew up with rock, but also for those discovering its energy for the first time.
