Walking in Darkness with Cats - Dark Music Videos

Walking in Darkness with Cats is a music video channel that primarily showcases the Gothic and Darkwave music of the Christchurch-based independent music project Shades of the Zone.

This is also an experimental space, exploring ideas, memories, experience, and the world around us through music and visuals. We only release music we truly believe in, and we aim to pair each track with evocative imagery, sometimes drawn from our own photography and video, sometimes created with AI. Many videos attempt to tell a story or recall a memory. While we are still learning and working within limited tools, we are always evolving. Join us on the journey and see where it leads.

Disclaimer: All music on this channel is AI generated, as are many of the images and video clips used. "Real" photographs and video clips used are mostly shot by our crew. We are not monetised and our music is not currently available for purchase anywhere. We are sharing ideas, not making money or seeking fame.
