Decide to Live with Jessica Larché

Welcome to Decide to Live! I'm Jessica Larché, a broadcast journalist and woman on a wellness journey.  

I struggled with food abuse and obesity well into my 20s. I spent years in a vicious cycle of losing weight only to gain a lot back, reaching 267 pounds on my 5'3 frame. Food was my "fixer," but it was breaking my heart. A high blood pressure scare forced me to decide: continue unhealthy habits or get to the root of them and decide to live.  

Nearly six years and 100 pounds later (give or take some ups and downs along the way) I have finally learned the key to lasting weight loss: love, forgiveness and faith. And finding the courage to address the "why" in therapy helped me access the answers I had been seeking all along.
