Donna, David, & the Divine

David Frenette and Donna Zerner are an interspiritual couple who have been praying and playing together since 2005. Because they feel separation is the root of so many inner and outer problems of our time, they seek to communicate a  consciousness of unity through contemplative practice, storytelling and humor.

David is author of *The Path of Centering Prayer*, and a transpersonal counselor (now retired). He worked closely with Father Thomas Keating for 35 years, and co-founded a contemplative retreat community under Fr. Keating’s guidance where he lived a monastic life for ten years. He now teaches online, and co-leads an annual retreat with Cynthia Bourgeault.

Donna is a former book editor, publishing consultant and writer, who performs storytelling and spiritual standup comedy. She is active in the Jewish Renewal movement, enjoys exploring the confluence of Judaism and psychedelics, and creates stealth flower mandalas in the local woods, where she is known as the forest fairy.
