Dave Watkins and The Fair Weathers

Based in Walyalup / Fremantle, Western Australia, Dave Watkins & The Fair Weathers are an alt-rock/blues act who's name derives from their debut show — where they played on a “fair-weather” stage in the middle of a thunderstorm and pouring rain — as the crowd danced joyfully in muddy floodwaters.

Fronted by Watkins’  with his bold voice and playful songwriting, the fair weathers blend gypsy and folk elements, balancing silliness with sophisticated musicianship. Expect tight rhythms, dirty octave-heavy guitars, radiant harmonies, and Bruce Rose’s roaming blues harmonica, tambourine, and hip-shaking flair. 

Internationally, Watkins has performed solo at Zonne Bende Festival (Netherlands), TAM Festival (London), and Friends Club Festival (Canada). In Australia, highlights include a sold-out headline show for his debut single The Last Shower and performing at The Wild Campout Festival. The Fair Weathers have also performed at Australian festivals Pox Eclipse and Blossom Festival.
