DadJoke Music for Kids

Weird music for weird kids.

I'm Dave Reminick — an award-winning composer and educator, and the guitarist and singer of Chicago's Paper Mice. Under the name DadJoke I write songs for kids that are catchy, ridiculous, and often flagrantly overengineered: a surprising key change, a drastic stylistic shift, a chord nobody expects. Kids ask for them again. Adults are still happy to hear them on the thirtieth listen.

I've got songs about birds, dinosaurs, ducks, giraffes, friendship, being brave, and getting out of bed. I've got learning songs about the countries of each continent, the months of the year, and the strings of a guitar. I've got a Halloween song. A potty training song. Even a song about the very real danger of a giant rubber horse falling on your head.

Fun Intended, my first DadJoke album, came out in June 2026.
