Cut Clay Love

Slab building tutorials for beginners and makers at every level. Learn how to hand build pottery at home, no wheel or studio.

I'm Emily, a ceramic artist and the maker behind Cut Clay Love. Here you'll find practical pottery tutorials, slab building techniques, helpful tips and step by step guides to make hand building with clay a little easier. Every tutorial links to a printable template, so you can skip the drafting and get straight to the clay.

My approach is simple: clear instructions, useful techniques and plenty of encouragement to have a go.
Subscribe so you don't miss one, and start with the Slab Building Basics playlist. Sign up to my newsletter and there is a free template for you when you do.
