Current art magazine

Current is the moving-image arm of the leading independent print magazine covering contemporary art across Aotearoa, Australia, and the wider Pacific — on the ground at openings, in studios, and inside the exhibitions themselves. This channel carries that access into video.

On this channel:
– Artist walkthroughs — exhibitions and new bodies of work, in the artist's own words
– Editorial reads on current shows and institutional programmes
– Short-form commentary on the exhibitions and debates defining contemporary art now
– Behind-the-scenes access to openings, studios, and installs most coverage doesn't reach

Independently published in print and online by an editorial team with backgrounds in art criticism, curating, and cultural publishing. Read the full magazine and subscribe at www.currentartmagazine.com.
