Welcome to Abel the Author.

I’m Abel Tutagalevao, an independent author, publisher and storyteller based in Aotearoa New Zealand.

On this channel, I share the real journey behind the books, the people and the places that inspire my work.

Come along as I visit schools and ECE centres, meet teachers and educators, talk about children's books and learning, explore culture and identity, and share the behind-the-scenes reality of being an independent author and publisher.
