Gonzalo lost access to his Patreon account and Patreon revenue in early 2022 when he was arrested for the first time. Since then, none of his Patreon channels revenue has gone to him or his family. After his arrest, he stayed in Kharkov due to an order by the authorities to not leave the city while his case was being further investigated. Complying with the order while continuing to exercise his right to free speech ended up killing him. In case of his death, he wanted for his Patreon videos to be made available to the public for free.
