crip frame

this is a space meant to (mainly) think and discuss disability, film, and the politics of representation.
through a crip lens, my analysis and criticism come from personal experiences from the perspective of a person who grew up with disability and still has to deal with structural ableism.

the goal is to analyze both old and new films and media that misrepresent and represent people with disabilities, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of authentic representation in creating an accessible world.
