Hi, my name is Theresa.  I am a crafter.  I've been called, crazy craft lady, card lady and many other fun names for the hobby that I love.   My first love is making cards.  I started making them with my mom.  When she was ill, I continued this tradition and sent cards to her at the rehab center.  The nurses loved looking at the cards I sent, and so I continued this tradition even after losing my mom quite some time ago.  I make them now for my family and friends and send them to the local nursing homes.  It brings me joy to hear the stories from the nurses when the patient’s son/daughter or even grandchildren are excited to receive them.  The nurses use them also for those patients who do not get many visitors and want to give the patient a little pick me up.  Thank you for allowing me to tell my story.  Love you mom and sis.
