On September 6th 2020 I started following my own version of the NHS Soup and Shake diet. I did this because I am diabetic and they have had success in reversing diabetes with this diet. That has ended! I proved in the first week that the diet could work, but was very difficult to follow. Then I hit a life challenge and it all went wrong.

However that's a really good thing! Like most fad diets the soup and shake diet will only work for a small proportion of those that try it. It won't be the healthiest diet and it will only effect change whilst the person remains on the diet plan.

This is where I get serious. I need to lose the weight, get fit, and follow a sensible, healthy, flexible and easy (ish) diet for the rest of my life.
