COPE Northern Sonoma County

COPE (Communities Organized to Prepare for Emergencies) is an emergency preparedness program that helps neighbors connect and be ready together, be it wildfires, earthquakes, or something else. We work closely with first responders, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations to collaborate and disseminate information. We have been a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, with volunteer driven leaders, members, and a working board since 2020. There are over 60 COPE communities in Northern Sonoma County, CA.

By working together as communities and local agencies to prepare for emergencies, we are safer and more resilient. During the 2019 and 2020 wildfires, COPE was credited with lowering property damage and saving lives.
