Contact: Wait Out

An ops room command game, in development for PC by Warfighter Studio.

You are the operations officer in a small patrol base. Your platoon is out on the ground and you are not. Everything you know arrives late and incomplete: a radio, a drone feed, a helmet camera, a sand table you plot by hand. You give the orders. They fight the battle.

On this channel: narrated playtests from the build as it happens, short clips, and Making Contact, our podcast about building the game and the people who did the jobs it asks you to command.

Contact: Wait Out is an ops room command game. It is not made to glorify war. It is made to represent, with respect, the real challenges that everyday soldiers and officers faced.

A work of fiction: the theatre, places, units and people are invented. Contact: Wait Out is an independent game. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ministry of Defence or the British Army.
