Confronting Photography

Welcome to Confronting Photography! My name is Douglas Hunter, and I've been creating images most of my life. Over the years, I've been an amateur photographer, professional photographer, and DP, and now, I am a visual artist who uses a camera in most of my work.

This channel is where I explore the practice, history, philosophy, aesthetics, and cultures of photography. Join me for insights, tutorials, vlogs, and criticism, getting into the art and culture of capturing images. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's something here for everyone. Let's get on this photographic journey together!
