Colorado State Representative Shannon Bird 

Shannon Bird has been the current Colorado State Representative for House District 35, which includes the Adams County side of Westminster and several large areas of unincorporated Adams County.  She has a lengthy record of public service in our community and has served as a member of the Westminster City Council and was elected to the State House in 2018.

Representative Bird serves on the Business Affairs and Labor Committee, considering legislation on the regulation of professions and occupations, property and casualty insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance, workers’ compensation insurance, economic development, banks and financial institutions, real estate, labor, and technology.

Shannon resides in Westminster with her husband, two children, cats and a 15-year old dog, Rocky, all adopted from local animal shelters.
