In the quiet village of Llanddarrog in South Wales stands one of the region’s greatest treasures — the White Hart Inn, a 14th century thatched pub and restaurant with more than 600 years of history carved into its walls.
Today, it remains instantly recognisable with its newly thatched roof, oak beamed ceilings, and the warm glow of its centuries old hearth.

For over three decades, the White Hart Inn has been the life’s work of the Coles family — a multigenerational team who live and breathe the inn. Marcus and Cain Coles, brothers and co owners, transformed the historic inn into not only a thriving restaurant, but a bustling brewery and later, the largest craft distillery in Wales.
