Our Lightning Alert / Warning System was developed using the SMS and microprocessor technologies to assist the Operation Manager of MOE schools or any organizations.
It provides pre-warnings of possible thunder storms based on Satellite webserver information. Our server will do a periodic pinging of information from the Weather Webserver for lightnings occurrence in geographic areas of concern. And the information is then send via SMS message to all the ALRAS controllers installed at the client’s sites.
The Lightning Alert / Warning System (ALRAS) will perform the following actions based on the message received :
- Turn on the Strobe Light and Siren for a pre-determined period set by the SMS message.
- Extend the alert period for a pre-determined period set by the SMS message.
- Turn off the Strobe Light and Siren.
