CoArt Market

CoArt Market is a marketplace of physical art and collectibles, built on the FracTown Platform. Every object is reviewed by a person at CoArt Market before it can be sold. Every object has its own certificate of authenticity on the Symbol blockchain, with its files on Arweave. Where an object’s digital fingerprint is recorded, it is stored encrypted in its certificate. Every sale on CoArt Market is added to the object’s provenance ledger.
What is live today is the first stage. It lays the foundation for what CoArt Market is being built for: a fractional ownership market for blue-chip art and collectibles, including the resale of fractions. The full system cannot open under European regulation today, so we are working to bring it under US jurisdiction and obtain the licences it needs there. In Europe we are preparing the collective acquisition of objects of historical and cultural value, to be shown in national museums, as soon as we obtain the regulatory approvals they require.
