ClocksUpcycled - new life to old clocks

ClocksUpcycled is run by Tristan Haskins, a lifelong clock enthusiast and Associate Member of the British Horological Institute. He specialises in giving broken or unreliable clocks — often with great sentimental value — a new lease of life through sympathetic quartz conversions.

Each clock is fitted with a high-quality, battery-powered quartz movement to improve accuracy and convenience, while preserving the clock’s original appearance. Wherever possible, the original hands are adapted and reused, so the clock is returned looking just as it did when it arrived.

While traditional mechanical restoration can be costly, quartz conversion offers a practical and affordable alternative. Services start at £35, with clockwork or mains-to-quartz conversions from £50

ClocksUpcycled also sells the exact movements used in all conversions, including Seiko chiming and UTS movements, available in both standard and high-torque versions.

Give your clock a new lease of life.
