CLiC Curriculum

In the past decade, there has been a growing interest in how children reason about the nature of causality which suggests that children are capable of understanding complex causality to a greater extent than earlier research suggested. The Causal Learning in the Classroom (CLiC) curriculum teaches students about  three complex causal concepts that are important to many science concepts— action at a distance (Module 1), distributed causality (Module 2), and probabilistic causation (Module 3).

CLiC is a product of the Causal Cognition in a Complex World (CCCW) Laboratory at the Harvard Graduate School of Education directed by Tina Grotzer.
