Inside, stained glass plays a fundamental role. Light magnifies the cathedral, telling us about the Bible and society in the Middle Ages.

Discovering and explaining

After more than 800 years, our world has changed profoundly. The place of religion and our rules of life are no longer the same. It's hard to understand the messages the builders intended to convey.

Passing on

Pilgrims, visitors, parents and grandparents want to understand the messages conveyed by the light. They want to be made aware, and their children to be made aware, of the history and beauty of the site. 

Our aim is to offer a simple, free tool, accessible to all, to explain the stories and answer questions about these stained glass windows. 

We need to open the great book of the history of our world in the Middle Ages!
