Cindy Guthrie Art

Hello & welcome to my channel! While I pay the bills with my day job as a chemist, here I get to share my journey as a self-taught artist working in colored pencil, soft pastel, watercolor, gouache and acrylic paints. I focus on capturing the beauty of nature and light of life in everyday moments. I especially enjoy creating works of art from my own reference photos. In my videos, I share tips and tricks I’ve learned on my artistic journey, and I also hope to share my learning experiences as I move outside my comfort zone in experimenting with abstract art and with accepting the imperfection inherent in every artistic endeavor. I would be honored if you would subscribe to my channel and join me in the Joy on this Journey!
