Signing for Worship

Hi,
My name is Cindy Spevere-August, and I have been signing songs since 1993.

I'm not an Interpreter or Entertainer, but I'm a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through songs in Sign Language.

Signing for Worship is personal. The signer is allowed liberties that an interpreter for the deaf does not have. You are expressing yourself to the Lord. Whether it flows, is choppy, or you only sign a few words, it's beautiful in the eyes of the Lord. You are giving of yourself, of your spirit, so let yourself flow!!

In my videos, I use different kinds of signs, including American Sign Language (ASL) signs, slang signs, and expressive signs.

I also have a book called "Signing for Worship" that can be purchased on Amazon.com.

I pray that you will be blessed by all the videos on my channel.
