Christine Rucci - From the Bean to the Jean© 

Christine Rucci's passion for denim started at a very young age; she designed her first jean for a Levi’s-sponsored design contest when she was just 10. Christine began her professional career working in Italy for Adriano Goldschmied and the Genius Group, a multi brand design collective consisting most notably of Diesel, Replay and Goldie Jeans. She worked closest with Renzo Rosso, and later worked with Marithe & Francois Girbaud, Diesel USA, and consulted for Armani & Moschino Jeans. Christine was lead designer for American brands working directly with Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. For 20 years she has been consulting for Marc Jacobs, Draper James, Mott & Bow, Ralph Lauren, Belstaff and Cordura, as well as small denim brands focusing on circularity and sustainability in USA. She is often featured in Rivet, Sourcing Journal, Sportswear International, Inside Denim, Carved in Blue, Forbes Magazine, WWD, and appeared in the film Blue Gold: American Jeans.
