ChiBurbs Sweet Cottage

Welcome to ChiBurbs Sweet Cottage! 🌹✍️

I am a Sugar Artist originally from Japan based in a Chicago suburb in the U.S.A.
And I’m dedicated to the art of delicate cake and cookie decorating.

I am on an inspiring journey to integrate traditional Japanese Calligraphy (Shodo) and fine arts into my sugar art. While I am still a student of the brush and the palette, I’ve discovered a profound connection between the flow of ink and the precision of piping. Mastering the perfect line in calligraphy is my secret training for creating the perfect petal in icing.

Join me as I explore the intersection of ink and icing. Every stroke, whether in ink or sugar, is a step toward a new form of edible art.
