Chef John Pisto's - Monterey's Cookin' Pisto Style

“ I make dust - I don’t eat dust” is a term that Chef John Pisto has lived out by being a trail blazer in the restaurant business. He has recorded many episodes of ‘Monterey’s Cookin’ Pisto Style’ over a 25 year period. Breaking the boundaries of a three camera studio shoot, he was a pioneer of remote recording of episodes all around the world. Chef John’s beloved wife Cheryl has worked side by side with him as they traveled extensively. She had a strong hand in creating the decor of the restaurants. Working in the background Cheryl has taken numerous photos of their many guests both in John’s commercial kitchen at their home and during their travels around the world. Her pictures are tastefully displayed on the walls of John’s Kitchen/Studio.
