The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic

Each year since 1991, CMCC's Oakland and San Francisco state licensed clinics provide over 6,500 complementary integrative medical (CIM) treatments (acupuncture, Chinese/Western herbs, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, therapeutic massage,  guided imagery) in addition to safety net social services (emergency funds, transportation, organic food program, social services resources). These CIM treatments are provided free of charge to over 800 clients, referred through Bay Area community hospitals, by over 400 volunteer practitioners.
