Chaos & Cognac

C&C is home to 'Nobody Warned Us' funny, brutally relatable commentary for Gen X women navigating the part of midlife nobody explained properly.

I’m Traci, author of 'Nobody Warned Us', and I make dryly funny, emotionally honest videos about burnout, peri/menopause, mental load, boundaries, aging parents, adult kids, relationships, dating after 40, friendship shifts, identity, and retirement anxiety.

I’m not a coach or therapist. Just a Gen X woman with opinions, a low tolerance for bullshit, and a deep appreciation for sarcasm.

This is for the women who’ve spent decades being capable, responsible, and the one who figures everything out and starting to question the arrangement.

No toxic positivity. No “5 steps to become your best self.” No pretending a bubble bath fixes emotional labour.

Just sharp midlife truth, Gen X humour, personal stories, and the kind of lines you want to text to a friend.

Recognition, not fixing.

Welcome to the group chat nobody warned us we’d need.
