Change The Script with Julie

Welcome to Change the Script — with Julie Whitney.

I’m an author, writer and professional celebrant with a lifelong fascination with words, stories and the lives behind them.

Here you’ll find my books, writing, poetry, readings and behind-the-scenes glimpses into life as an author, alongside reflections on celebrancy, ceremony, grief, love, life and the stories we leave behind.

From writing books to writing ceremonies, one belief connects everything I do:

Words matter. Stories matter. And sometimes, we get to change the script.
