Prabahika Fine Arts Institute

Prabahika Fine Arts Institute, Newtown AB Block, Kolkata was set up in the year 2017 to teach primarily Kathak dance of Lucknow Gharana by Mrs. Chaitali Biswas for girls exclusively. Gradually, other dance forms were also included like Rabindra Sangeet Nritya, Folk and contemporary dance forms etc. 
Additionally, drawing classes and recitation classes for the small children are also conducted at Prabahika.
Prabahika is registered under Sarba Bharatiya  Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata. Annual examinations are conducted and students are issued certificates after successful completion of respective courses. Presently there are about 60 students of different age groups. This year Prabahika Fine Arts Institute has celebrated its 8th Annual Day Function, which was held on 16th Nov., 2024 at Rabindratirtha Auditorium, Newtown, Kolkata.
It provides excellent ambience and quality education in various dance forms, drawing and recitation to its students.
