Czech Beer and Malt Association

The Czech Beer and Malt Association brings together breweries, malt houses and related institutions directly or indirectly involved in beer production in the Czech Republic. Contributing members include hop growers, producers of beer glassware, labels, brewing technology and equipment, as well as educational institutions. The Association builds on a tradition dating back to the late 19th century, when the first professional brewing and malting organisations were founded, and has existed in its current form since 1991. Its main goal is to promote and defend the rights and common interests of its members, support their development and represent them towards legislative and administrative bodies, the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, the Employers’ Association, industrial, research, business and agricultural organisations. It also represents Czech brewing and malting internationally and is a member of The Brewers of Europe.
