Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence (CEAC) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). 
Co-founded by the European Union. Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet Action.

CEAC strives to become a leading research centre in EU Studies, EU-Asia relations, and academic debates on conceptualising and analysing connectivity-related challenges and opportunities for the EU’s role in a rapidly changing global environment. CEAC contributes to the understanding of EU-Asia relations from an international political, economic, social, and security perspective. 

CEAC is to develop into a hub for facilitating sustainable connections within and between Europe and Asia through research, teaching, networks, and communication in order to generate and advance state-of-the-art knowledge and address opportunities and main challenges faced by the EU and its citizens in a changing international environment.

Activities: teaching, joint academic publications, events, exchanges for researchers and students, internship programme.
