Central Romana is a socially responsible agro-industrial and tourism corporation, established in the Dominican Republic in 1912. Since our foundation, we have become the largest sugar producer in the country with more than a century of work, progress and well being for our employees and their families.

Our industrial operations are located in the province of La Romana with an area of influence that also covers the provinces of El Seibo and La Altagracia, for the cultivation and harvest of sugarcane.

Along with sugar production, we have diversified our operations in the areas of Cattle Breeding, Meat and Dairy Manufacturing, Chemicals, Metal Industry, Concrete Materials for Construction, pioneers in Luxury Resort Hospitality and Real Estate Tourism, Free Trade Zone Park, Airport and Cruise Port Operation, generating more than 20 thousand jobs in the country,  which makes us the largest private employer in the Dominican Republic.
