CELG - Centro de Estudos Luís Guedes

The CELG, Centro de Estudos Luís Guedes, was founded on December 22, 1959. 
ts headquarters are located on the 2nd floor of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). 

The CELG includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals, as well as professors from the Department of Psychiatry and Legal Medicine of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), students and alumni from that Department and from other specialization, update, extension, and graduate programs in psychiatry promoted by UFRGS and CELG. 

It also includes current and former residents from the Psychiatry Medical Residency Programs at the Psychiatry Addiction, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Services of HCPA, residents from other training institutions in Rio Grande do Sul, and prominent guest professors from other institutions. 

Every 2 years, since 1960, the CELG has hosted the "Jornada do CELG"!
