Carilyn Steno

Welcome to my channel. My name is Carilyn. I am a stenographer providing clean realtime remote CART captioning for over 15 years. In this channel I share strategies and tips for studying stenography and understanding the career opportunities for stenographers.

If you are a working court reporter, welcome to my channel where you can see my live steno outlines and compare them with your own for ideas.

If you are an English learner from around the world, you can turn on auto-generated subtitles in your language and watch my realtime transcription while listening to the voice over to improve your English.

In my first career, I was a teacher before becoming a stenographer. I enjoy learning and helping students learn. I also like eating out with friends, socializing one on one, reading Kindle books, and watching Wheel of Fortune.

On this channel you'll also find odds and ends of strategic thinking about a variety of topics, as I'm a natural born strategist.
