The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) is an independent, non-profit organization established in 1987 to set trusted standards for automotive replacement parts. CAPA exists solely in the public interest. We don’t manufacture, sell, or distribute parts.

Through rigorous testing, CAPA Certification helps consumers, collision repair professionals, parts distributors, insurers, and regulators identify replacement parts that fit properly, perform reliably, and meet standards comparable to original equipment.

More than 195 million replacement parts have earned CAPA Certification to date. Every CAPA Certified part carries the distinctive blue and yellow CAPA Quality Seal—appearing only on parts that meet or exceed CAPA Standards.
