Canta Mara Youth Choirs of the Annapolis Valley

Canta Mara Youth Choirs of the Annapolis Valley (formerly the Annapolis Valley Honour Choir) is recognized nationally for its excellence in music education and capacity for community building. An vibrant part of the Annapolis Valley’s cultural fabric for over 35 years, there are approx. 200 choristers ranging from Grades 2-12 in four choirs, representing communities from the Kempt Shore to Granville Ferry.

The choir provides a powerful means for young musicians to build confidence - to strengthen their unique voice and express their true selves in a safe, supportive space. Choir members feel a collective sense of teamwork and responsibility, learn the value in being committed to something larger than themselves, and share in a common vision that brings beauty to the world.
