Canadian In Detroit

Follow my journey BUYING/REHABBING/RENTING PROPERTIES as a CANADIAN in DETROIT!

A BIT ABOUT ME:
I'm a TV show producer by trade. For most of my life, I've been running around with a video camera or on a crew documenting lives. Now I turn the camera on myself, apprehensive, to document my ups and downs of investing in Detroit rental real estate. I bought my first property in 2019 as a Canadian investor.

It took me a while to figure out that..I love to figure things out. Now, nothing is a problem, only a challenge to solve.
Growing up, we lived in an old house perpetually under renovation, and a basement that was a makeshift science lab for a curious mind. A table of things, incl. broken clocks, radios, etc. by broken, I mean ready to be fixed. Following the motto, 'If they are broken, what's worst that could happen?' That understanding pushes me to try things, learn things and take risks.

And now I'm risking it all to do it in Detroit and learn some more. Hope you enjoy!
