It’s prohibition era Chicago. Dennis Bruce Zeigler, a union secretary and father of 11, was on his way home from work when someone jumped out of a car and shot him in the head. His family ran out. He died a block from his house. Rumors swirled that the mob did it. But no one was ever arrested.
