Bunjil Music Business Project

The Bunjil Music Business Project was developed to provide Indigenous people with a passion for music, the training and mentorship they need to pursue a career in all aspects of the music industry.

The pilot program ran from October 2013 to March 2014 and brought together leading music organisations in Australia  - The Mushroom Group of Companies, Indigenous Hip Hop Projects and Payback Records.

Through these organisations participants not only learnt about how to write, record, shoot video clips, promote and perform music but they also got hands on experience undertaking these tasks.

The existing and emerging talent that was uncovered has been impressive.

The project may be over but the music lives on.
