Bullock's Rules for Writing

Bullock's Rules for Writing is a channel dedicated to providing basic, intermediate, and advanced instruction in writing for high school students. We'll feature everything from what makes a sentence to how to complete a thorough analysis of a complex text. If something's not here, ask! We're probably working on it.

Jay Bullock is a 20-year veteran English teacher in Milwaukee, a professional writer, and a cat owner. He currently teaches AP English Language and Composition, among other things, but has taught both AP and IB literature.
