AI and Consciousness is closer than ever with an AI chip placed in a monkeys skull allowing the monkey to play Donkey Kong on the computer through telemetry.  January 2024 an AI chip was placed in a human with the intent to compensate for Quadriplegia.  Then in August 2024 a 2nd implant was successfully completed with a goal of 10 more in 2024. Consciousness and AI each have a foot on the connecting bridge that we will explore on this channel. We are at the precipice for Super Humans when new skills are added. Imaging restoring eyesight and getting Infared and radar imaging as a bonus. We are now closer than ever to AI enabling humans with new skills and abilities, yet farther away than we realize.
