BroadBit Batteries

BroadBit has developed a family of batteries including a revolutionary low-cost, high-performance, robust, eco-friendly, scalable sodium chloride (table salt), carbon (coal), silicon oxide (sand) and sulfur (refinery waste product, food preservative and fertilizer) battery with 50% more energy per unit cost and 20% more energy per unit mass than lithium-ion. All materials are widely available, cheap and locally sourceable, meaning supply disruptions as recently experienced due to the pandemic can be avoided. We target applications in electric vehicles and grid storage and stabilization and believe that, with our innovations, we can sustainably grow the rechargeable battery market from today's 70B$ to greater than 1T$ in the coming decades.
